Full Job Description We're Hiring:
Community & In-Home Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Join a team where compassion meets purpose—and no two days are ever the same! We're looking for a dedicated, compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team and provide high-quality ABA services in the places where our clients live, learn, and play. As a Community/In-Home RBT, you won't be tied to a clinic or desk. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with clients in their homes, schools, daycares, and other community settings , helping them build meaningful skills and increase independence in their everyday environments. What You'll Do Provide individualized ABA services in clients' homes, schools, daycares, and community settings Work one-on-one with children to teach, guide, and strengthen new skills Implement individualized behavior support and treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA Collect accurate data and document client progress during each session Assist with functional behavior assessments and other assessment procedures as directed by the BCBA Use evidence-based ABA teaching strategies, including discrete-trial teaching and naturalistic teaching Implement reinforcement, prompting, prompting-fading, differential reinforcement, and other behavior-analytic procedures Support the development of communication, social, daily living, academic, and adaptive skills Help create safe, supportive, and positive learning environments Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, teachers, daycare staff, and other members of the client's support team Complete objective and timely session notes Respond appropriately to feedback and work toward maintaining and improving performance Follow all safety, crisis, and emergency procedures according to established protocols A Role That Moves With You Because services are provided in homes and community-based settings , each day can look a little different. You may work with a client in home in the afternoon, support them within their school or daycare environment, and help build skills during community activities. Our typical service hours are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with travel time included in your workday. We also provide mileage reimbursement for eligible travel between client locations , because we recognize that community-based services require you to be on the move. What Makes You a Great Fit? You may be a great fit for this role if you: Love working with children and enjoy their energy, individuality, and curiosity Have experience working with children with autism or other special needs Are patient, compassionate, dependable, and willing to learn Are comfortable working in a variety of environments and adapting to different settings Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team Are organized and able to accurately collect and document data Are interested in psychology, education, behavioral health, special education, or therapy Want a meaningful career where you can see the impact of your work every day Qualifications & RBT Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred Experience working with children with special needs preferred Must be able to pass a background check Must complete the required 40-hour RBT training Must successfully complete the required RBT competency assessment Must pass the RBT examination within 180 days of completing the required training and competency assessment Must maintain RBT certification and meet all applicable requirements established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) RBT Competency Areas Training and competency assessment will cover skills including: Continuous measurement procedures, including frequency and duration Discontinuous measurement procedures, including partial- and whole-interval recording Permanent product recording Data entry and graphing Preference assessments Functional assessment procedures Reinforcement procedures and schedules Discrete-trial teaching Naturalistic teaching and incidental teaching Task-analyzed chaining procedures Discrimination training Stimulus control transfer Stimulus fading Prompting and prompt fading Antecedent-based interventions, including motivating operations and discriminative stimuli Differential reinforcement procedures, including DRA and DRO Extinction procedures Crisis and emergency procedures according to protocol Objective session documentation and note writing Receiving and appropriately responding to clinical feedback What You'll Get in Return Paid/on-the-job training and BCBA mentorship Support as you complete your RBT training and certification requirements Ongoing clinical guidance and supervision Opportunities for professional growth and advancement A supportive, collaborative team that values your contributions The opportunity to work directly with children and families in the environments where they live and learn Mileage reimbursement for eligible work-related travel A career where the work you do can make a meaningful difference every single day Ready to Make a Difference?
