Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with behavioral health needs, specifically those diagnosed with autism. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
Duties:
  • Implement behavior management techniques and strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to children with autism
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
  • Teach and reinforce appropriate social skills, communication skills, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Collect data on client progress and behavior for analysis
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to evaluate client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions and progress
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and techniques
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies and techniques
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred)
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred, but not required
