Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or someone willing to train to become and RBT, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide high-quality behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Your primary focus will be implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, collecting and analyzing behavioral data, and supporting clients in developing essential life skills. Responsibilities Implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols tailored to each client's care plan. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, and hygiene routines, promoting independence. Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support clients in developing communication skills through teaching functional communication methods. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and educational staff to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across settings. Engage in ongoing training related to behavioral health, ethical standards, and medical terminology relevant to the role. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willing to complete to 40-hour training and pass the qualifications to become registered. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in achieving functional independence. Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and documentation purposes.
