Behavior Specialist/BCBA (Certified) Rutherford County Schools - 3.9 Murfreesboro, TN Job Details Full-time 11 hours ago Qualifications Educational compliance and regulation understanding Full Job Description Must meet all health, physical and background check requirements. Prefer a current Tennessee Teaching Certificate in at least one area of Special Education and/or have Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentials. Have successful teaching or other relevant experience addressing behavior for students with disabilities. Possess a broad knowledge of and ability to apply all Special Education Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining to interventions, programs and placement of eligible students with autism and/or moderate to severe behavioral and/or emotional problems. Strong Interpersonal skills-ability to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of people (i.e., students, school administrators, teachers, other professionals in the school and community, support staff, parents, etc.) Able to take direction; work both on a team and independently. Able to organize multiple priorities and work on a flexible schedule. Possess sufficient computer and word processing skills necessary to maintain records and complete required documents and other paperwork related to the position.
