Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students in grades 6-12 with significant behavioral needs. Located near Nashville, TN, this position also offers the unique chance to serve a cooperative district in Omaha, NE. Students in this setting require more specialized behavior support than what the school can traditionally provide, but not to the extent of a clinic-based environment. Working in a dynamic, retail-style facility, you'll play a critical role in partnering with district staff to address and manage challenging and severe behaviors, including crisis management and intervention.

Key Qualifications:

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required (RBT not eligible for unrestricted hours) Experience working with older students exhibiting extreme behaviors, including physical aggression, self-injury, and elopement Demonstrated ability to train and lead paraprofessionals, RBTs, and educators in implementing behavior intervention plans Strong crisis management skills, including experience with crisis plans and de-escalation strategies Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across educational and behavioral service settings

Role Responsibilities:
