This position involves implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT will work closely with clients to promote positive behavioral changes and enhance their quality of life through effective behavioral therapy techniques. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Assist clients in daily living activities and promote independence. Collect and maintain accurate data on client progress and behaviors. Document medical records and maintain confidentiality of all client information. Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in care plans. Provide support in developing care plans that address specific behavioral needs. Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote social skills and emotional regulation. Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices in behavioral health. Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism. Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to understand medical documentation. Familiarity with behavioral health principles and practices. Ability to assist clients effectively while fostering a supportive environment. Strong observational skills for monitoring client behaviors and progress. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members. Experience working with children is preferred, demonstrating patience and adaptability in various situations. This role is essential for making a positive impact on the lives of individuals receiving support, ensuring they have the tools they need to thrive in their environments.
