Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Behavior Technician to join our team in providing exceptional behavioral support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will implement evidence-based interventions, assist with daily living activities, and collect vital data to support clients' progress. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster meaningful improvements in clients' behaviors and overall quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, and other self-care routines Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles under supervision Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies aligned with special education practices Conduct behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistency and progress Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding medical records and sensitive client information Skills Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and implementation of therapy protocols Strong understanding of medical terminology, documentation, and medical records management Ability to perform behavioral data collection accurately and efficiently during sessions Familiarity with special education practices, behavior management strategies, and client communication techniques Prior experience in home-based behavioral therapy or school settings is highly desirable Commitment to ethical standards outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Join us if you're passionate about making a difference through patient care, behavior management, and supporting individuals on their journey toward greater independence.
