Entry Level-Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Absolute Behavior Advancement - 5.0 Cypress, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time $15 - $19 an hour 13 hours ago Benefits Paid training Mileage reimbursement Paid time off Paid orientation Opportunities for advancement Flexible schedule Referral program Qualifications RBT Certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Professional ethics High school diploma or GED Experience working with children Bachelor's degree Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Full Job Description Job Responsibilities Work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities in clinic and/or at community locations. Communicate daily with parents/caregivers Manage maladaptive behaviors including but not limited to aggression (biting, hitting, etc.), tantrums, and property destruction Implement ABA techniques to manage challenging behaviors (aggression, tantrums, etc.) Maintain positive attitude and demeanor. Implement all plans developed by BCBA supervisor as written. Help clients with skill building Utilize de-escalation techniques to reduce maladaptive behaviors. Collect data on goals and target behaviors. Complete session notes for sessions completed Job Requirements Must maintain professional and ethical responsibilities as related to both the BACB and Absolute Behavior Advancement Maintain active RBT certification Maintain professional appearance
