Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support skill development, and promote positive behavior change through evidence-based practices. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary team to foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors and progress to inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, to promote independence Use behavioral management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop and update individualized care plans and goals Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations Create a safe, supportive environment that encourages learning, engagement, and emotional well-being Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies effectively Proficiency in data collection methods for tracking client progress and behavior patterns Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Patience, compassion, and a dedicated approach to patient care and behavioral health Embark on a rewarding career that empowers others while developing your skills in special education, behavior management, and healthcare support.
