Job Description

Education- Bachelors Degree (preferred); candidates wishing to obtain their BCaBA Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT ) Must work well with children. Have reliable transportation and provide proof of auto liability insurance Be able to complete our 90-day trial period training experience to satisfactory performance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to adapt to the Social Adaptability Approach to ABA as well as progressive ABA implementation Must receive HIPPA training Must be willing to learn and implement new skills, as well as the ability to work on a team Individuals must meet monthly benchmarks for performance feedback Individuals who are wanting to grow and develop within Social Connections for additional specialty roles Summary As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality behavioral health support to individuals, particularly children, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCaBA). Your core responsibilities will include implementing care plans, maintaining medical documentation, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. With your premium skills in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, you will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve. Strong communication skills and a bachelor's degree are essential for success in this role, as you collaborate with families and other professionals in the field. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCaBA. Provide direct support to clients, focusing on patient care and behavioral health. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote skill development. Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families and team members to ensure effective communication and progress tracking. Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to manage behavior and support clients with developmental disabilities.
