This position will provide direct behavioral support to an elementary-aged student throughout the school day.

PM Setting:

Elementary School Student requires significant behavioral support, including support with attention-seeking behaviors.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide consistent 1:1 behavioral support throughout the school day. Implement established behavior intervention plans and behavioral strategies. Assist the student with behavioral regulation, classroom participation, and daily routines. Identify behavioral patterns and appropriately redirect attention-seeking behaviors. Utilize proactive de-escalation and crisis-prevention strategies when needed. Collect and document behavioral data to monitor student progress. Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, special education staff, and other members of the school team.

Requirements:

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. Experience working with elementary-aged students with behavioral needs preferred. Must be comfortable supporting a student with significant behavioral needs. SAMA certification preferred. Candidates who are not currently SAMA certified may be considered if willing to obtain certification. Strong behavior management, communication, and de-escalation skills.
