Job Description

Job Overview Join our passionate team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality ABA therapy to children with Autism, and other developmental disabilities. As an RBT, you will implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), helping clients develop essential skills and improve their quality of life. ABA sessions are conducted in the client's home. This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining valuable experience in applied behavior analysis. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients' progress in communication, social skills, and daily living activities Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses to support the BCBA Carry out evidence-based teaching strategies, tailored to each client's needs, within their home environment Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling medical records and sensitive client information Communicate with supervisors regularly to maintain treatment fidelity Commit to 8 hours of initial training Foster a positive, engaging environment that promotes client safety, comfort, and motivation during therapy sessions Qualifications At least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED Pass criminal background check Excellent communication skills for effective teaching, data collection, and collaboration Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude to support clients' emotional well-being and progress Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
  • CPR Certification
  • RBT Certification
Preferred:
Associate's degree or higher in a related field such as
Psychology or Social Work Preferred:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
