Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team in delivering high-quality behavioral health services. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in implementing individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. Your energy and enthusiasm will help foster meaningful progress, support positive behavior change, and improve clients' overall quality of life. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference while gaining valuable experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral therapy. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, feeding, and hygiene, promoting independence and skill development Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Implement ABA therapy protocols as outlined in individualized care plans, ensuring consistency and fidelity to established procedures Support clients during direct behavioral therapy sessions, applying behavior management techniques to encourage positive behaviors Communicate effectively with clients, families, educators, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive care delivery Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and safeguarding medical records and documentation Participate in ongoing training on medical terminology, ethical standards, and professional conduct aligned with the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Skills Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and implementing ABA therapy protocols Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients' independence in daily routines Proficiency in data collection methods for behavioral health assessments and progress tracking Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation standards, and maintaining accurate medical records Home-based behavioral experience or school experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable Excellent client communication skills combined with patience, empathy, and professionalism to foster trust and engagement Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive!
