Must have DOT card Please fully read before applying $900 weekly salary is firm. CDL not required must work 3 weeks out. Prefer experienced driver. Also willing to rest at rest stops in your truck. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to navigate various routes effectively. Duties Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage and fuel consumption. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for loading and unloading tasks. Drive manual transmission vehicles when required. Skills Proven experience in moving and route driving with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices. Ability to operate a van or truck with proficiency in manual transmission. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with loading and unloading cargo safely using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspections. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred but not required.
