Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate BCBA Intern to join our dynamic team dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. As a BCBA Intern, you will support the implementation of evidence-based behavioral interventions, assist with client assessments, and contribute to the development of skill acquisition programs. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) within a supportive environment committed to professional growth and client success. Your role will be vital in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to children and individuals with disabilities, fostering meaningful progress and positive outcomes. Responsibilities Assist in conducting behavioral assessments and intake evaluations for new clients Support the implementation of individualized ABA therapy protocols aligned with client needs Collect, record, and analyze data related to client behaviors, skill acquisition, and progress Help develop and modify skill acquisition programs in accordance with best practices in ABA Support behavior intervention plans by providing consistent reinforcement and behavior support strategies Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure clarity and collaboration Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), including skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention strategies Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress and behavior patterns Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards Ability to work effectively with children in various settings while demonstrating patience and empathy Experience supporting behavioral health initiatives, diagnostic evaluations, or special education environments is a plus Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement This paid internship is designed for individuals passionate about making a difference through behavioral health services.
