Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans. Your role will be crucial in helping individuals achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
RBT Duties:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect data on client progress and behavior
  • Assist with patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Provide direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and modify behavior plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and records
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations with all RBT duties
RBT Requirements:
  • Willingness to obtain a Registered Behavioral Technician Certificate
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans accurately
  • Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
