. This position is for our center based clients in Layton, UT, and home based clients in the Davis/Weber area. RBT experience Preferred
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
This is required. AIM-Autism In Motion offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as a treatment for children who have been diagnosed with autism and other neurological and developmental delays. We are seeking compassionate individuals who have a desire to help families to support their children by providing behavior support, helping to increase communication, and helping to increase age level independent living skills. Become part of our collaborative clinical team to deliver treatment in the home and community; supporting families where they need help the most! This position will require an applicant to obtain a Registered Behavioral Technical (RBT) certification, which requires a 40 hour course followed by an examination. We walk new hires through the process to become an RBT, and also offer a bonus for timely completion of the course. Our RBTs are the backbone of our success in providing superior care and service through the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Responsibilities of Registered Behavior Technicians:
Providing support to families whose children are diagnosed with autism/developmental delays and/or adults with autism and deliver treatment through the modality of ABA Receive clinical supervision from a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect data on treatment outcomes and efficacious Communicate with collaborating providers through care coordination Educate parents through psycho-education about their child's disorder Facilitate referrals to other healthcare and educational providers Deliver 1:1 client care in the home and community Maintain a caseload of 3-5 families Gain clinical experience needed to advance in the behavioral health field Implement individualized programs for children and young adults based on ABA principles that increase communication, self-help, social and play skills. Utilize positive reinforcement and antecedent modification to increase appropriate behaviors over time. Manage inappropriate behaviors that occur through the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and consultation with our BCBAs Qualifications Previous experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and/or adults with autism/ developmental delays is preferred Must have Your own vehicle for transportation (REQUIRED) Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent (REQUIRED) Willing to start part time, after school hours Clinical documentation or willingness to learn how to write clinical documentation Ability to build rapport with autistic clients and their families Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to manage schedule and organizational skills Professionalism and ability to work in client homes while maintaining boundaries All candidates without RBT Credential must be willing to obtain credential within 90 days of employment (facilitated by BHWC) Must be able to complete 40 hours of online training within the first 3 weeks of being hired.

We expect the online training to start once you receive your onboarding email with login information. It is not acceptable to wait until the last minute to begin training. We offer highly competitive compensation based on prior experience. Typically $18.00-$25.00/hr. We offer up to a 5% pay increase every 6 months after your 90 day evaluation (depending on performance review) RBTs will receive an $800 bonus for the full completion of training, and working 10 hrs with a client. Techs must fully complete training and start working with a client to receive this bonus.
