Behavior Consultant — BC2 Open Arms Youth and Adult Services - 5.0 South Salt Lake, UT Job Details Part-time | Full-time $29 - $35 an hour 5 hours ago Qualifications BCaBA Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders Patients with cognitive disabilities Experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities Master's degree Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst Intellectual disabilities support Board Certified Behavior Analyst Full Job Description Open Arms Youth and Adult Services is seeking a qualified BC2 Behavior Consultant to provide Behavior Consultation Services to individuals with intellectual disabilities/related conditions (ID.RC) and/or adults with acquired brain injuries (ABI). Required Qualifications All BC2 pathways require at least one year of experience working with persons with ID.RC or adults with ABI . Applicants must also qualify through one of the following pathways:
Option A:
BCaBA certification through the BACB and Utah DOPL licensure as a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LaBA) .
Option B:
Master's degree in a behaviorally related field and Utah DOPL registration as an RBS or RaBS .
Option C:
Enrollment in a BACB-approved behavior-analysis course sequence leading to BCaBA certification and supervision by a BCBA who is willing to supervise the BC2 staff member.
Option D:
Master's degree in a behaviorally related field and qualification for an applicable exemption from DOPL licensure identified in
DHHS91172.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide behavior consultation; conduct observations and gather behavioral information; participate in development and implementation of behavioral support strategies; provide staff training and coaching; monitor behavioral outcomes; collaborate with DSPs, families, guardians, support coordinators, and other team members; maintain required documentation; participate in interdisciplinary meetings; and ensure services comply with applicable DHHS91172 and agency requirements.
