Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one behavioral therapy to children with autism and other developmental disorders in their home environment. As an RBT, you will implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA to promote meaningful behavioral changes and skill development.Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as designed by the supervising BCBA.
- Provide direct support and training to clients in their home setting, focusing on improving communication, social skills, and daily living skills.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavioral occurrences during sessions.
- Maintain a positive and supportive therapeutic environment to encourage client engagement.
- Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA to discuss client progress, challenges, and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with families to educate and empower them in supporting their child's development and behavioral health.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain RBT certification and stay updated on best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and compliance standards in all aspects of service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Current RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or willing to obtain RBT certification within 90 days of hired date.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes.
- Work will primarily be conducted in clients' homes, which may vary in environment.
- Flexibility in scheduling is required, including potential evenings and weekends.
