  • Position Overview:
  • We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavioral Analyst to join our team.
As a Behavioral Analyst specializing in developmental disabilities, you will play a pivotal role in conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing behavior modification strategies to support clients in achieving their goals. This position is approximately a 50/50% home/travel position.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to analyze the antecedents, behaviors, and consequences influencing individuals' behavior.
  • Develop individualized behavior support plans (BSPs) based on the results of FBAs and in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members and stakeholders.
  • Implement evidence-based behavior modification techniques, including reinforcement strategies, prompting procedures, and skill acquisition protocols.
  • Provide direct/indirect behavior analysis services to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community-based programs.
  • Monitor and track clients' progress toward behavioral goals, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and collect data to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency and continuity of care.
  • Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders on behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and implementing ABA interventions.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles, functional assessment techniques, and behavior intervention strategies.
  • Excellent data collection, analysis, and documentation skills.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting best practices in behavior analysis.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, Virginia Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry check, and a List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) check.
  • Must be able to create own work schedule, while meeting job requirements.
