Job Description

Empower Behavioral Services, LLC provides clinic-based ABA services to clients in Fredericksburg, VA. We pride ourselves on providing individualized therapy administered by highly-qualified and compassionate professionals who truly take joy in working with their clients. Our 6,000 sq. foot clinic in Fredericksburg offers an immersive therapeutic environment and contains individual treatment rooms, a gym, sensory room, play rooms, and an art room. Clients participate in both intensive 1:1 therapy, natural environment learning, and group-oriented social activities throughout the day. Our full-day Early Learner Preschool Program focuses on helping preschool and kindergarten aged children gain the skills they need to be successful in a school environment. Our afternoon programming includes tween level social skills groups and focused individualized teaching. We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and skilled BCBA to join our practice.
BCBA Responsibilities include:
Providing clinic-based ABA services to clients weekly, including supervising behavior technicians, and conducting parents/caregiver training Conducting intakes and determining treatment plan goals and objectives for clients through the completion of skill assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, PDDBI, ABLLS) and through gaining information from families and school staff Developing behavior support plans that are based upon functional assessment of behavior Monitoring and adjusting treatment goals and behavior intervention plans via ongoing data analysis Participating in clinical team meetings to ensure communication between team members Assisting with company-wide training and individual RBT training The candidate should be hands-on, self-motivated, and enjoy working with children and their families. Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst with the Virginia Board of Medicine in good standing. At least two years of experience providing ABA services to children with autism and their families. Must have experience conducting FBAs in addition to the VB-MAPP, ABLLS, or PDDBI assessments. Experience working with insurance-funded clients preferred. Experience providing graduate-level supervision to students in a BCBA program preferred. Basic Life Support/CPR certification preferred.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $87,000.00 per year
