Registered Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) - Part-time Opportunity in Henrico, VA Overview Symphony ABA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Henrico, VA. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. This part-time position involves implementing behavior intervention plans, assisting with patient care, and ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations while fostering a positive environment for our clients. Responsibilities Implement individualized care plans based on applied behavior analysis principles Assist clients in daily living activities, promoting independence and skill development Monitor and document client behavior and progress, maintaining accurate records Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust treatment strategies Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment Educate clients and their families about behavioral health concepts and strategies Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations Qualifications Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or BA a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health practices is advantageous Familiarity with care plans and the principles of applied behavior analysis is essential Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to assist clients compassionately Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards What We Offer Competitive hourly rate: $24 - $32 per hour Part-time schedule with flexibility to suit your needs Opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those we serve If you are a compassionate and dedicated professional looking to join a dynamic team, apply now for this rewarding part-time opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) with Symphony ABA.
