Big Heart ABA Pay:

$32 per hour Big Heart ABA is looking for a compassionate, reliable, and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to a child in Newington, CT. Spanish-speaking RBTs are strongly preferred because Spanish is primarily spoken in the home. English-speaking RBTs are also encouraged to apply if a Spanish-speaking candidate is not available.

Schedule & Weekly Hours Treatment Plan:

Up to 20 Hours per Week Our goal is to maximize authorized treatment hours as much as possible while ensuring that the weekly total never exceeds 20 hours.

Preferred Schedule Saturday:

3-4 hours

Sunday:

3-4 hours 3 weekdays: 3:00 PM-6:00 PM Weekend hours are flexible.

Alternative Schedule Monday-Friday:

3:00 PM-6:00 PM Weekday and weekend hours can be adjusted to maximize authorized treatment time, up to 20 hours per week. Scheduling Flexibility We aim to schedule as close to 20 hours as possible while staying within the approved weekly limit.

Examples:

15 weekday hours + 5 weekend hours = 20 hours 12 weekday hours + 8 weekend hours = 20 hours 15 weekday hours + 3 weekend hours = 18 hours The schedule will be coordinated to meet the child's treatment needs and maximize available authorized hours. About the Role You will work directly with a child while receiving support and supervision from a BCBA. The initial focus will be on building rapport, pairing, play-based learning, and creating a positive relationship with the child. Responsibilities Provide 1:1 ABA therapy. Follow the child's individualized treatment plan. Build rapport through play and engaging activities. Collect accurate session data. Support skill development and behavior goals. Communicate with the BCBA and family. Maintain a positive and supportive environment. Adhere to authorized weekly treatment hours. Qualifications Active RBT certification required. Previous experience working with children preferred. Spanish-speaking strongly preferred. Reliable and dependable. Patient, energetic, and compassionate. Strong communication skills.
