Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals to support their development and behavioral goals, providing essential interventions and positive reinforcement strategies. The position offers comprehensive on-site training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), with 40 hours of training provided to ensure you are well-equipped to deliver high-quality care. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other qualified professionals. Provide direct support and assistance to clients, helping them develop communication, social, and daily living skills. Collect data on client progress and behavior during sessions to inform ongoing treatment planning. Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors and promote client engagement. Maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for clients during all interactions. Attend 40 hours of on-site training designed to prepare you for certification as an RBT, ensuring adherence to all relevant ethical guidelines and standards. Collaborate with team members and families to ensure consistency in behavioral interventions and support strategies. Requirements Willingness to complete 40 hours of on-site training necessary for becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping others achieve their goals. Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation of client progress. Prior experience in behavioral health or related fields is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Must be dependable, flexible, and eager to learn new skills in a dynamic environment. Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
