Job Description

Job Description Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00/hour (Based on RBT status and experience)
Schedule:
24 hours/week (Thursday & Friday 3:30-8:30pm | Saturday & Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm)
Start Date:
Immediate (flexible start available for the right candidate) Why Behaviorbee? Are you looking for a clinical home that values your expertise instead of just \"filling a shift\"? At Behaviorbee ABA Services, we don't have a revolving door. We are a boutique, BCBA-owned agency with exceptional team retention—6 out of our 9 technicians have been with us for over a year (and 4 for over 2 years!). We prioritize our staff so you can focus on providing top-tier care.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated 1:1 clinician for a new case in Arlington working with a preteen/teenage client who has limited verbal communication skills. The client has previous ABA experience, so you won't be starting from scratch—they are familiar with therapy routines, making this a great opportunity to focus on building strong rapport and expanding skills. We are looking to fill this role ASAP, but can offer flexibility on start date for the right candidate. The Perks of Being a \"Bee\"
Paid Time Off:
After 6 months of service, employees working 20+ hours weekly are eligible for 3 days of PTO and every 6 months thereafter.
Income Security:
We offer full pay for late cancellations.
Premium Tools:
Every clinician is provided with a dedicated iPad for real-time data collection.
Professional Development:
After 12 months, you are eligible for a $1,000 annual fund for ABA conferences and workshops.
Direct Mentorship :
Receive high-touch, 1:1 support and free BCBA supervision for those pursuing certification.
Full Certification Support:
We pay for your RBT application fees, two exam attempts, and provide all required Professional Development (PDUs) in-house.
Responsibilities What Your Shifts Will Look Like Day-to-Day:
Building Rapport & Trust:
Spending time doing what the client loves (games, music, sensory play, active breaks) so learning feels natural and fun.
Supporting Communication:
Helping a preteen/teenager with limited verbal speech use alternative methods to express their wants and needs (e.g., using a speech device/AAC tablet, picture exchange/PECS, or functional gestures).
Teaching Life & Social Skills:
Guiding the client through daily routines like self-care, task completion, emotional regulation, and engaging in age-appropriate activities. Implementing the
Behavioral Plan:
Encouraging positive behaviors and calmly handling challenging moments using the step-by-step strategies designed by your overseeing BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).
Data Tracking :
Logging daily progress and goals on a company-provided iPad (don't worry—we teach you how to use our system!). Collaborating with
Leadership:
Working hand-in-hand with your BCBA, who will meet with you regularly to supervise sessions, answer questions, and adjust goals.
Skills & Qualifications Experienced:
RBT preferred, OR 6 months of experience in
ABA, OR 1
year of experience working with children with special needs.
Local:
Ideally living in or near Arlington to keep your commute short and stress-free.
Qualified:
Must have a High School Diploma/GED, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Willingness to complete a background check is required.
Certified:
RBT certification is highly preferred, but we will train the right candidate with the relevant experience and a passion for the field.
