Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract To Hire Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting 1st grade students during the Extended School Year in a one-on-one educational setting. This full-time, contract-to-hire position is an excellent fit for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is dedicated to making a meaningful difference for students with behavioral needs. With administrative support on-site and a collaborative campus culture, you'll have the resources you need to help students thrive, particularly those with Autism or ADHD.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Experience working in school settings or with young children, ideally in 1st grade or elementary levels Strong background supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or ADHD preferred Understanding of behavior intervention strategies and individualized plans Ability to cultivate a supportive and structured one-on-one environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Work one-on-one with 1st grade students, focusing on behavioral interventions and support Implement individualized behavior plans and track student progress Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to ensure consistency across educational programs Maintain clear and ongoing documentation of student behavior and intervention outcomes Respond effectively to behavioral needs, using positive reinforcement and evidence-based techniques Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities, as needed This is your chance to truly make a difference in a child's school experience while developing your own skills and career.
