General Responsibilities:
Manage and develop behavioral instructions and supports for participants with developmental disabilities. Train and mentor staff to ensure the effectiveness of client services. Promote dignity, respect and high quality of life for the participants. Ensure all participants receive care, support and assistance in accordance with agency, local, state and federal guidelines.Essential Functions:
(Tasks, Responsibilities, and Competencies. May not include all duties of this job) Model a positive, proactive, and priority-based communication style that encourages collaboration and allows space for all voices to be heard, with the goal of improving the quality of life of our team and our clients. Participate in specialized training and other professional development activities designed to update knowledge, enhance and increase skills, and foster professional growth. Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable Federal and Washington statutes and administrative rules, contracts with funding agencies, and company policies. Develop and implement appropriate records, tracking mechanisms, reports, and documentation, including tracking tools for staff to use in data collection. Author Functional Assessments (FA), Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) for adults in the Supported Living (SL), and Community Protection (CP) programs. Develop and review de-escalation techniques that are successful for the participants while respecting their quality of life. Conduct quarterly / bi-annually / yearly reviews of all FA/PBSP's to ensure compliance for SL and CP. Supervise Participant Care Plan Coordinator by ensuring timely performance reviews, corrective actions, training, delegating of tasks, and ensuring time cards are complete and processed to payroll by pay period timeline. Train and develop staff to implement and effectively manage the Positive Behavior Support Plan and de-escalation techniques. Review data and author reports for all restrictive procedures and exception to policy (ETP) for SL and CP programs. Obtain necessary signature(s) required to ensure compliance for all participants PBSP's and RP/ETP's. Work directly in the SL and CP home(s). This may include direct observation of client's behaviors for data-tracking purposes, training staff in implementation of behavior and support plans, and consult with guardians and outside stakeholders. Ensure prompt response and collaboration with QA and Health Care teams Participate in on call rotation. Work direct care shifts during on call week whenever necessary to ensure required or appropriate staffing. While providing direct support for the clients in their homes or during weekly site visits, ensure the homes are clean and compliant per state requirements Perform occasional light lifting of up to 20lbs, plus lift and transfer clients as needed. Navigate stairs in multistory buildings without elevators. Observe client's functional conditions and report changes immediately to the Program Manager to ensure action is taken promptly. Evaluate and monitor program effectiveness, reporting regularly to the Supported Living Director on participant and staff needs, and implementing changes as necessary. Maintain knowledge of and interact individually with program participants, and make minimum quarterly visits to all sites. Consult with Direct Care Supervisor and Program Managers to develop and revise strategies and plans for the most effective care and development. Provide instruction and support to participants on topics such as living skills, power and choice, relationship building, health and safety, and integration necessary for successful community living. Respond promptly and appropriately to challenging participant behaviors and problems at sites. Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree inApplied Behavior Analysis/ Related Field Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience working as a BCBA. Minimum 3 years' experience providing ABA services Experience conducting skill and behavioral assessments Expertise in development of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs Completion of the 8-hour supervision training required by the BACB Experience supervising BCaBAs and/or Behavior Technicians.Licensure/Certification:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Licensed with the Department of Health and in good standing. Agency Affiliated Counselor within 6 months of hire. DSHS background clearance required and federal fingerprinting Obtain CPR/ First Aid Certification and NAR within 90 days of hire Become Nurse Delegated for all clients within 6 months of becoming delegable. Complete additional clearance requirements for Community Protection program within 6 months of hire. Current Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Attend and complete The Buzz in Adult Learning and Peer Coaching training within 90 days or advancement or hire. Attend training required by applicable laws.Other Considerations:

Typing speed of at least 60WMP Ability to learn Therap client data base software Strong verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated leadership ability. Perform occasional light lifting (approximately 10-20 pounds) and physically assist unsteady participants.Compensation:
$40•48/hr Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications/licensure.Shift :
Monday•Friday, full time 8am•5pmBenefits:
