9678431-98036 Job Description Step into a vital role supporting elementary students in a school-based setting near Lynnwood, WA! We're seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with students navigating significant behavioral and emotional challenges. This is a contract opportunity, scheduled to begin September 28, 2026, and extend through June 18, 2027.
Position Highlights:
Direct 1:1 engagement with either a 5th grader or a 1st grader Focused support for students exhibiting emotional regulation difficulties, physical aggression, elopement, and related behaviors such as hitting, kicking, spitting, and throwing Standard workweek: Monday through Friday, 30 hours per week To excel in this position, youll need: Your BACB-accredited Registered Behavior Technician credential Current Washington Department of Health Certified Behavior Technician Credential Strong behavioral intervention skills, especially with students requiring emotional and physical regulation strategies Commitment to supporting young learners as they develop essential life and social skills Beyond the rewarding nature of the work itself, youll benefit from: Highly competitive pay at $35 per hour, paid weekly Comprehensive insurance coverage, including medical, dental, vision, life, and more Access to a Matching 401k and Flexible Spending Account for your financial wellbeing If youre passionate about making a daily difference and have the expertise to support students with challenging behaviors, this position offers both purpose and professional growth.
