Who We Are:

Therapz is a new local micro-agency founded by a caregiver and a clinician. We are are partnering to offer in-clinic and community based ABA services. Our goal being to serve clients and families with neuro-affirming, client specific intervention that is meaningful and relevant in the individual's preferences and autonomy across settings.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate part-time Behavior Technicians to join our team. The successful candidate(s) will provide individualized intervention to youth with developmental disabilities, utilizing evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) technologies to promote skill development and autonomy overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate is available in the evenings Monday through Friday from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about improving the lives of others while making a meaningful difference and being part of an agency from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized care plans to ensure the highest level of client care and support.
• Utilize behavioral management techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote positive interactions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and administer comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide neuro-affirming client support in various settings, including the home, community, and clinical environments.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions and track progress towards goals.
• Continually assess client engagement and priorities, adjusting expectations as appropriate with the supervision of the BCBA.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to confidentiality and client privacy.

Required Skills:

• Flexibility
• Ability to implement individualized treatment plans & programming.
• Proficiency with accurate data collection, program fidelity and HIPAA compliance.
• Familiarity with medical records and the importance of factual and detailed documentation.
• Reliable and punctual for sessions and meetings with clients, stakeholders, and supervisors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with complex needs.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior management strategies.
• Prior ABA Experience
• Current CBT license through the WA State Dept. of Health
• Familiarity with digital data collection software
