In this role, you will lead individualized treatment plans, conduct comprehensive assessments, and provide expert supervision to support children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. Your expertise will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors, all while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and maintaining a compassionate approach. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on thorough assessments such as Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and diagnostic evaluations. Conduct behavioral psychological assessments and functional assessments to identify underlying causes of behaviors and inform treatment strategies. Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to track client progress and adjust interventions accordingly. Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members, ensuring adherence to best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans, facilitate intake processes, and support client communication needs. Maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality. Support clients in various settings including home-based programs, schools, or clinical environments while promoting autism spectrum disorders support and behavioral health initiatives. Skills Extensive experience working with children with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders and neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, behavioral therapy techniques, and behavioral intervention strategies. Proficiency in conducting behavioral health assessments such as functional behavior assessments (FBA), diagnostic evaluations, and medical terminology understanding. Skilled in data collection methods for tracking client progress accurately during therapy sessions. Excellent client communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams. Experience working within school environments or home-based settings that involve working with children with disabilities. Ability to manage medical documentation efficiently while adhering to HIPAA standards for patient privacy.
