The Center for Every Learner | Seattle, WA The Center for Every Learner is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team. We are a small, collaborative program providing individualized behavioral services to children across school, clinic, peer-group, and community settings. We also operate an in-house day program supporting both the educational and behavioral needs of children , where behavior technicians work alongside BCBAs, teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other professionals throughout the school day. In addition to our in-clinic program, we support kids in schools, their communities, and their homes. This is a great position for someone who enjoys working directly with kids, values relationships and play, and wants hands-on experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) within a supportive, team-based environment. What You'll Do As a Behavior Technician, you'll work directly with children to implement individualized programs developed and supervised by a BCBA.

Your day may include:

Supporting children individually and in small groups. Implementing ABA treatment programs under BCBA supervision. Supporting functional communication and self-advocacy. Helping children build social and peer-interaction skills. Supporting flexibility, independence, and adaptive skills. Helping children safely navigate challenging or frustrating situations. Supporting transitions and participation in daily routines. Facilitating play and meaningful peer interactions. Collecting data and completing session documentation. Participating in community outings, walks, parks, swimming, and other activities. Collaborating with BCBAs, teachers, SLPs, and other members of the child's team. Participating in ongoing training and supervision. Our Day Program One of the unique parts of working at The Center for Every Learner is our in-house day program . Rather than spending the entire day providing isolated 1:1 therapy, our BTs are part of a larger team supporting children throughout their natural daily routines. Children receive educational instruction from their teachers while BTs focus on their individualized behavioral programming. This allows skills to be practiced where they actually matter—during play, peer interactions, transitions, group activities, community outings, communication breakdowns, and everyday problem-solving. BTs may work individually with a child during one part of the day and support a small peer group during another. You Might Be a Great Fit If You... Genuinely enjoy spending time with children. Experience We provide training and ongoing BCBA supervision. This position can be an especially good fit for individuals interested in gaining experience before pursuing graduate work in behavior analysis, psychology, education, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, or a related field.
