About Carpe Diem Academy:
Carpe Diem Academy located in Tacaoma WA is a non-profit organization supporting children on the spectrum ages 4-22 with private education and therapy clinics. Our program prides on becoming a direct resource for our parents as we approach a learning environment in which daily life skills are vital to our curriculum while allowing our therapist to work hands-on in and outside of the classroom supporting our students and patients in implementing what they have gained daily. We are seeking a dynamic BCBA or LABA pursuing their BCBA to join our team and assist our ABA Department to its fullest potential. Our BCBAs enjoy the responsibilities and experience of working closely with Clinical Directors at their designated campuses. Focus on culture, great clinical work, integrity, communication, and adaptability. Our team is exceptionally trained, reliable, dependable, and passionate. We encourage our employees to work with all our disciplines from Educational Staff, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language pathologists, and Physical Therapists. We love what we do, and we are seeking team memebers who share our passion for improving the lives of children and families affected by autism and all disabilities.
Job Skills/Credentials/Experience:
Strong ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and clinical skills
Self-disciplined:
Able to schedule and attend client appointments and clinical team meetings with consistency, reliability, and punctuality Excellent written and spoken communication Excellent time management skills Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent team player attitude and customer service orientation Bilingual skills valued (Spanish preferred) A minimum of a Master's degree in a related field is required Candidates must be currently active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Have previous clinical experience as an autism service provider or in a school setting with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Prior supervisory experience overseeing a team of ABA clinicians Supervision of RBTS/CBTS and LABAs is a must Responsible for timely notes on all parties Manage and assign caseloads Assesment and Insurance Authorization Experience is a must (including report writing)
