Job details Summary Spherion Temporary 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Industry administrative & support services (Office and Administrative Support Occupations) Reference number S_179459 Job details The position is responsible for both the ongoing management and the long-term development of assigned mental health and substance use treatment benefits. Ongoing activities include, but are not limited to, drafting communications to healthcare providers to announce policy changes, working with technical staff to ensure accurate payment of healthcare providers, collaborating with intra-departmental workgroups, researching and responding to coverage and reimbursement questions from external stakeholders, and acting as a liaison with behavioral healthcare providers. Long-term activities include, but are not limited to, analyzing proposed changes to coverage and reimbursement policies, developing alternative health care delivery models, and proposing budget initiatives to improve the cost-effectiveness and quality of assigned benefit areas.

Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field Strong background in research, policy analysis, and healthcare program management Knowledge of Medicaid programs, medical coding, or healthcare billing processes
