Job Description

Job Summary :
Behavior Technicians work in the homes of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder throughout the Marshfield, WI area. They will work under the direction of a Treatment Therapist to provide ABA (applied behavior analysis) to the client. Behavior Technicians are responsible for teaching communication, emotional/behavioral regulation skills, play/social skills, and daily living skills. Paid training is provided. Following the training period, sessions will be in a 1:1 setting with the client and will be scheduled for 2-3 hours at a time. This position offers the potential for advancement. Part time opportunities available - 15-25 hours per week Behavior Technician Responsibilities and Duties work with children diagnosed with autism in multiple areas of need behavior regulation social/play skills daily living skills communication skills take data accurately on the skills worked on during the sessions participate in floor time activities, physical play activities, as well as table tasks
Behavior Technician Qualifications and Skills:
Required :
High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license 18 years or older background check ability to lift up to 35 lbs. and participate on floor time activities
Preferred :
Previous experience working with children on the autism spectrum is a plus strong interpersonal skills professional attitude self-motivation with a strong work ethic good critical thinking skills with quick decision making creative, energetic, compassionate attitude
