Job Description
Position Overview North Star Behavioral Consultants, LLC is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide individualized ABA services to a young client in the Middleton, Wisconsin area. This position will begin with approximately 12 hours per week supporting the assigned client. While the initial position is part-time and case-based, there may be opportunities to take on additional clients and increase weekly hours based on the RBT's availability, interests, and future client needs. Services will primarily take place in the client's natural environment and will emphasize developmentally appropriate, play-based ABA intervention under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities Provide 1:1 ABA therapy according to the client's individualized treatment plan Implement evidence-based ABA strategies and skill-acquisition programs Use play-based and natural environment teaching strategies appropriate for a young child Collect accurate data on client goals, behaviors, and progress Complete required session documentation in a timely manner Prepare materials and activities needed for sessions Participate in regular BCBA supervision and clinical consultation Communicate professionally with the supervising BCBA, caregivers, and other members of the client's treatment team Follow all ethical, confidentiality, and professional requirements associated with RBT services Qualifications Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Experience providing ABA services to children Experience working with young children and early-intervention populations strongly preferred Two or more years of ABA experience preferred Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the client's service location in the Middleton area Ability to pass required background checks Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability Ability to work independently while following BCBA-developed treatment protocols Schedule & Growth Opportunities The initial assignment is expected to provide approximately 12-13 hours per week beginning October 15, 2026 until January 30 2027 Scheduling will occur within daytime hours based on the client's needs and the RBT's availability. This position has the potential to grow beyond the initial assignment. RBTs interested in additional hours may have opportunities to work with additional North Star clients as new cases become available in the area. Because ABA services are client-dependent, specific hours cannot be guaranteed if a client's schedule, authorization, or service needs change. Pay:
