Full Job Description Overview:
Perform installation, calibration and preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of complex medical and electronic hospital equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
Education:
HS/GED. Associates degree from an accredited college or university in Biomedical or Electronics Technology strongly preferred. Related work experience may substitute for a technical degree.
Experience:
Requires nine years experience on biomedical equipment in a hospital environment.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints. Ability to use assorted power and hand tools. Knowledge of safety codes. Must posses a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
