Every day, you will inspect, calibrate, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of biomedical devices. You'll maintain accurate service records and provide technical support to clinical staff, ensuring compliance and operational excellence. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong technical troubleshooting skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and patient safety. Performs significant preventative maintenance/safety tests/calibration for equipment Provides equipment repair throughout responsible area Prioritizes work load effectively with minimal supervision Completes all necessary record keeping for work orders received and/or finished Solves organization level customer service issues and complaints with minimal supervision Assists in the ordering of part and supplies necessary for servicing of equipment Job Requirements Required Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Biomedical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field OR equivalent military education OR graduate of a technical program OR equivalent training validated through training certifications Minimum of two (2) year of experience servicing technical equipment AZ Drivers License Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Preferred Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES) Certified Healthcare Technology Manager (CHTM) Where You'll Work Imagine a workplace where your passion for healing meets a commitment to community.
