A Biomedical Equipment Technician maintains medical and laboratory equipment and instruments, provides repairs and inspections, and tests and calibrate equipment.
The Biomedical Equipment Technician conducts cost-effective maintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment primarily located at customer sites, to ensure they are functioning properly and meet customers' needs. They perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducts cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on various medical devices. Reads, evaluates, and interprets technical literature, schematics, and technical drawings. Completes all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and regulatory compliance. Communicates with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.
Skills & Qualifications:
An Associate degree OR Bachelors degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Biomedical Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical engineering. Alternative qualifications include Equivalent military training or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET). Proficiency in completing preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of general equipment. Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies. Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office programs. The ability to supervise other biomedical personnel and other employees.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Pay Range:
