Biomedical Equipment Technician Apprentice Hourly Rate:

$25.00-$30.00

Summary:

We are seeking a Biomed Equipment Technician Apprentice to join our team in Stockton, CA. In this role, you will work under the supervision of experienced technicians to learn how to install, maintain, and repair medical equipment. You will also assist in conducting safety inspections and calibrations on a variety of biomedical equipment.

What you will do:

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment for healthcare facilities and state prisons within California Learn to conduct safety inspections and calibrations on biomedical equipment Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing necessary repairs Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Interest in biomedical equipment technology and BMET courses completed preferred Strong mechanical aptitude Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work well in a team environment Must pass federal background and drug screen (no exceptions) Must have a valid driver's license Must be authorized to work in the
