Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of biomedical equipment including diagnostic radiology devices, surgical tools, and patient monitoring systems Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning medical devices promptly to minimize downtime Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory requirements for medical equipment Maintain accurate medical documentation, service logs, and maintenance records within electronic health records (EHR) systems Assist clinical staff with equipment setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting during procedures such as surgery or diagnostic imaging Conduct staff training on proper device use, safety protocols, and basic life support (BLS) procedures like CPR and blood sampling techniques Report on patient conditions related to equipment performance and collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to optimize device functionality Experience Prior experience working with critical care or acute care medical equipment is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare procedures, and electronic health record (EHR) management systems Hands-on experience in hospital or clinic environments, especially within surgical or plastic surgery units Strong client communication skills to effectively liaise with healthcare professionals and patients regarding equipment use and safety concerns Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required; additional certifications in medical device calibration or biomedical technology are advantageous Familiarity with blood sampling procedures and patient condition reporting enhances your ability to support clinical teams effectively Experience in diagnostic radiology or clinic-based settings will be considered a plus Join us in ensuring that cutting-edge medical technology functions flawlessly to deliver exceptional patient care.
