Nestled among the pines on a picturesque 645 acres is the University of West Georgia
- a hidden gem approximately 40 miles west of Atlanta.
- Coordinates with and assists the ELC Assistant Dean, ELC Coordinators, Instructional Designer/Lead SimTech, and faculty to provide for the implementation and delivery of simulation and skill activities.
- Expertise in running simulation software, ability to program specific scenarios, and operate software during simulation activities.
- Participate in simulation-based training, tours/demonstrations, and professional development activities.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of standard audio-visual equipment, projectors, microphones, etc., Experience in Microsoft Office and PC platforms. Experience with providing technical support in networking, computer hardware or software. Organizational and time management skills to keep materials in order, track various projects, maintain files, and follow through assignments to completion. Ability to quickly learn new technology. Collaborate on decisions inside the institution including assisting with the purchase and maintenance of expensive lab equipment including high-fidelity patient simulators. Please note that the position is exposed to conditions that affect the respiratory system, such as gas, fumes, odors, dust, mites, gases, or poor ventilation. Hazards- Include a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.
