The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing durable medical equipment (DME) across various settings, ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently in the field while providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Maintain durable medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Perform routine inspections and repairs on medical devices to ensure optimal functionality. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repair tasks. Document all service activities accurately in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Able to deliver, install, and pick up equipment. Educate on proper equipment use. Follow company policies and procedures. Maintain an organized inventory of parts and supplies necessary for repairs and maintenance. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working in various healthcare environments. Requirements Proven experience in field service or a related role involving equipment repair and maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Familiarity with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelines for DME is preferred. Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment for calibration and repairs. Basic understanding of computer hardware for data entry into CMMS systems. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and healthcare staff effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) as determined by our insurance carrier. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Ability to pass drug screen.
