The Biomechanical Equipment Technician II inspects, tests, calibrates, troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and modifies biomedical electronic and electromechanical devices. Has direct responsibility for all serviced devices. This work is performed under minimal supervision using the tools and techniques of biomedical technology. You Belong Here ! High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of formal training in a recognized certificate program in biomedical technology or electronics at a recognized technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization. In lieu of formal training, a candidate must demonstrate 5 years of experience in a technical profession involving electronics, or computer/software-related work. Must demonstrate the accomplishment of continuing education annually, such as service school attended, certifications, and recognized technical training in related fields. 2 years of related work experience. Minimum 28.90/hour - Maximum 47.41/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
