Job Description
Hart Medical Equipment is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to install, maintain, and repair home medical equipment for patients. In this technical and maintenance-focused role, you will set up equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe, reliable operation in the home setting. You will train patients and caregivers, maintain accurate service records, and coordinate with healthcare partners. Responsibilities Install and set up home medical equipment according to prescriptions and safety standards. Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on equipment. Respond to service calls, diagnose issues, and complete timely repairs or replacements. Educate patients and caregivers on safe operation, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting. Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and infection-control guidelines. Collaborate with clinical staff and internal teams to coordinate equipment needs. Provide courteous, professional customer service in patients' homes and facilities.
