Biomedical Equipment Technician II Location:
Indiana, PA Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician II to join our team in Indiana, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment and systems. This individual will work closely with medical staff to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and meets regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair biomedical equipment and systems Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions Order parts and supplies as needed Document all maintenance and repair activities Train medical staff on proper equipment usage Ensure all equipment meets regulatory standards
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred 2+ years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician Strong knowledge of biomedical equipment and systems Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license Must Pass background and drug screen. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
