Job Description

Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking Technical Specialists for a Direct Hire opportunity for a company located in North Charleston! The ideal candidate should be familiar with medical devices and have excellent customer service skills. Technical Specialist are responsible for delivering, removing, servicing and maintaining durable medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities. The job requires daily travel using a company vehicle, and occasional overnight travel with extended travel for staff coverage. The service area may extend 250+ miles.
Pay Rate:
$21.00-24.00/hour based on experience Education Requirements for
Technical Specialists:
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or Trade School Training or certification is preferred. Requirements for
Technical Specialists:
After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. must have a valid license with a minimum of 3 years driving experience. Customer support experience. Working experience in the medical device industry or healthcare industry is preferred. Proficient with standard technology devices and apps. Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities of Technical Specialists:
Schedules and completes deliveries and removals of medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities. Keeps accurate records of delivery, pick-up, maintenance, and repair activities. Demonstrates and explains general operation and proper use of medical equipment to patient/customer. Periodically work on-call rotation. Responsible for all general warehouse and fleet vehicle upkeep. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
