What you will do Performs preventative maintenance and electrical safety inspections of clinical equipment, devices, and systems. Maintains documentation and inspects/tests all newly purchased, evaluation, demo, leased or rented medical equipment. Determines cause of problems or malfunctions of minor medical equipment. Exceptional analytical skills. Effective written and oral communications. Knowledge of and ability to apply highly technical principles, concepts and techniques in solving complex technical problems. Ability to understand and prepare complex written materials, such as equipment manuals. Ability to communicate verbally with all levels of associates, physicians and equipment manufacturers and vendors. Demonstrates a logical and methodical approach in analyzing problems and troubleshooting. Demonstrates effective and correct use of hand tools. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles. Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment. Ability to organize tasks, set priorities and maintain control of workflow. Supervision Provided by this Position There are no leads or supervisory responsibilities associated with this role.
