$65,000•$75,000 base + overtime Scientific Safety Alliance Scientific Safety Alliance's Biomedical Division specializes in the repair, preventative maintenance, and safety inspections of medical equipment. We service territories across the entire United States. Benefits Bonus opportunities Partial ownership of SSA 401(k) with employer match Medical (100% covered), Dental, Vision Short-term and long-term disability benefits Company vehicle H.S.A. plans available Generous paid time off, holidays, and sick days Company gear Provided equipment and tools About the Role Perform calibration and service on biomedical and specialty equipment Work in a high-autonomy, decentralized environment Manage your own schedule, customers, and workload Key Responsibilities Perform field service, calibration, and repair Travel to customer sites daily Manage scheduling and service calls independently Maintain inventory and equipment in company vehicle Communicate with customers and internal team Ensure accurate documentation and compliance Training 6-12 month ramp-up (more complex equipment) Includes shadowing and gradual independence Qualifications 1+ years of relevant experience Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to work independently and learn quickly Valid driver's license Preferred (Not Required) Technical training, trade school, or engineering background Experience with biomedical or calibration equipment Key Traits Self-starter with strong ownership mentality Comfortable working independently Strong problem-solving skills Hands-on and mechanically inclined Reliable and accountable Travel Details Daily travel within ~2-hour radius (Austin and surrounding areas) No central office — fully field-based roleSimilar jobs in Austin, TX
