This position is ideal for a strong BMET or Biomedical Field Service Technician who has experience testing, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on patient-care equipment and is interested in expanding into the metrology and calibration side of the business. The ideal candidate will have strong biomedical equipment experience, particularly with infusion pumps and biomedical test equipment. Direct biomedical calibration experience is preferred but not required . Candidates who regularly use biomedical analyzers to test and verify patient equipment may be considered, as training on the calibration process will be provided. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and verification of biomedical equipment. Test and evaluate patient-care equipment using biomedical analyzers and specialized test equipment. Perform field calibration and related metrology services after completing company training. Document test results, calibration activities, service work, and equipment status accurately. Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify potential problems independently. Follow established procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards. Travel to customer sites throughout the region and other locations as needed. Work independently while maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams. Maintain accurate records and ensure work is completed reliably and on schedule. Strong hands-on experience performing PMs, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing patient-care equipment. Experience with biomedical analyzers/test equipment, particularly infusion pump analyzers, is highly desirable. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Willingness and ability to travel 50%+ , including occasional trips lasting 2-3 weeks. Comfortable flying, driving, traveling alone, and working away from home for extended periods. Strong communication, reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail. Stable employment history preferred. Degree is preferred, but equivalent military training, technical education, certifications, and hands-on experience will be considered.

experience is a plus but is not required. What We're Looking For The strongest candidates will be experienced biomedical technicians who already use the types of equipment we calibrate and are interested in developing their metrology expertise. You do not need to have direct experience calibrating biomedical analyzers to qualify. Strong hands-on experience using biomedical test equipment, especially in a hospital or field-service environment, may be enough to succeed in this role. Travel Requirements This is a true field-based position. Candidates must be comfortable with 50%+ travel and occasional extended trips of approximately 2-3 weeks away from home .
