Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all company owned rehab/DME rental equipment as well as customer owned equipment. Maintains appropriate documentation, establishes, implements and monitors policies and procedures regarding the servicing and delivery of equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
Repair and maintain all rehab and DME equipment in a timely, cost effective manner. Determines when repair or replacement is necessary and notifies the customer or Intake Representative. Prepares quotes for parts and supplies and maintain adequate inventory in a cost-effective manner. Verifies DME warranty repair request. Maintains proper documentation on all repairs. Develops and implements policies and procedures regarding equipment repair and maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer and regulatory guidelines. Maintains current files of manufacturers, repair and maintenance manuals, warranties and other related documentation. Assists with the delivery and set up of equipment with appropriate education and instructions to the customer. Responsible for maintaining the physical and mechanical condition of company vehicles. Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with customers. Keeps work area clean and organized. Willingly accepts other duties as assigned.
Experience:
At least one year experience in a similar role High School diploma or equivalent required 1 year of customer service experience Basic computer skills
Certifications/License:
Hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license. Physical and Mental Requirements Be able to lift and/or push up to 75 lbs. Be able to stand and walk for long periods of time Be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time. Other requirements Willing to travel 75% in the designated service areas Be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as required to support a 24/7 schedule. Occasional exposure to moderate environmental variations, above-normal noise levels, and/or unpleasant substances. May be exposed to hazardous or potentially injurious elements or conditions. During the course of duties may occasionally be at risk for occupational exposure to chemicals for example disinfectants and soaps.

$20.00 - $21.50 per hour
